CPA firm is looking for a full-time audit senior accountant that wants an opportunity to make an impact by truly partnering with clients.

Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $70,000- $90,000 DOE
The Audit Senior will work 100% remotely to provide great client service, continue to expand their knowledge, showcase their leadership skills and help other team members achieve their goals. They have invested
in the technology that allows the team to work efficiently from anywhere and make sure that everyone is connected and communicating to function in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- In-charge of small to medium assurance (audit, review, compilations, examinations) engagements
- Assist audit manager with large assurance engagements
- Review staff audit work
- Prepare financial statements accurately and efficiently
- Research and document appropriate GAAP treatment of items in financial statements
- Preparation of form 990
- Assist as needed with tax preparation
- Assist in managing the firm’s client projects/due dates list
- Assessing and improving the firm’s processes
- Supervising and training staff
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in audit with a CPA firm
- CPA or CPA license in progress
- Strong proficiency with Thomson Reuters or similar software (AdvanceFlow, Checkpoint Engage, Practice, Ultratax,
- Planner, etc), Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required, Adobe.
- Excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead multiple team members
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and prioritize responsibilities required
- Industry experience with not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plan audits a plus
